This Oceanfront Cottage Is In Immaculate Condition And It Embodies The Old Hawaiiana In A Modern Cottage. A Key Feature Of The Living Room Is The Large, Plantation-style Screened Shutters. Opening Them Allows The Gentle Sea Breeze To Pass Through The Downstairs Living Room. Other Features Include Cable Television, Vcr, And A Stereo With A Cd Player. The Large Dining Room Faces The Ocean Allowing For The Viewing Of Whales And Porpoises While Enjoying Your Meal. From The Couch In The Lanai, You Are Just A Handful Of Steps To The Beach. There, Guests Will Find A Barbeque For Grilling Fresh Fish And Vegetables From Town. The Kitchen Was Designed As An Ideal Cooking Space For Hawaiian Living. It Features A New Refrigerator, Gas Range, Oven, And Dishwasher. The Architect Built A Fold Down Breakfast Table With Stowable Chairs. A Sliding Pass Through Window Was Added To Make It Easy To Serve Guests Sitting Out On The Lanai. One Of The Best Features Of The House Is Its Access To The Two Small Private White Sand Beaches Bordering The Property. Currently, There Are Up To Six Sea Turtles Making Their Home Along These Beaches. They Like To Play On The Shore And Eat The Sea Moss Living On The Lava Rocks. Please Keep In Mind That The Turtles Are A Protected Species And Should Not Be Touched Or Fed Under Any Circumstances. The Cottage Consists Of Three Unique Bedrooms All Privately Situated On The Second Floor. There Are Two Mirrored Bedrooms; Both Having Sliding Glass And Screen Doors That Open To The Deck. One Bedroom Directly Overlooks The Shallow Lagoon In Front Of The Cottage. At Night, Guests Can Fall Asleep To The Calming Sounds Of The Pacific Ocean. The Second Mirrored Bedroom Overlooks The Point Where Ancient Hawaiians Once Launched Their Fishing Canoes. Both Bedrooms Have Queen-size Beds That Sit Low To The Ground, "Japanese Style". The Third Bedroom In An Interior Room With A Queen Size Bed, Its Own Private Bathroom, A Bathtub, And Closet.
